Truth, the nation's largest smoking prevention campaign for youth, kicked off its 11th annual nationwide summer tour on Friday, June 25, with tour stops all across America. The Truth campaign is run and funded by Legacy, a national public health foundation, with the mission of keeping young people from smoking and helping all smokers quit. The Truth campaign extends its mission to educate young people about the adverse health and social effects of tobacco use by traveling throughout the United States this summer. The "crew members" consist of charismatic young adults selected from a national pool of applicants who will interact with teens across the country along the stops, which primarily include popular summer musical and sporting events.
