Community Tobacco Coalition
The Community Tobacco Coalition meets every month on the fourth Wednesday to review and guide the activities of the Cigarette Restitution Fund Program in Carroll County. Our members include business leaders, representatives from Carroll Hospital Center, Carroll County Public Schools and many other community organizations. Cessation Services
A variety of cessation programs are offered to appeal to individual smokers when they are ready to quit:
Stop Using Tobacco for Life - Seven week extensive quit program. Focuses on the individual need to develop skills to unlearn the habitual and unconscious part of the smoking habit. Discussion topics include: nicotine addiction, stress management, behavior modification, withdrawal, cravings, urges and more.
Jump Start to Quitting - Two hour quick quit clinic to get you started or to refresh your quit plan.
Next Step Maintenance - Support group to assist you in staying quit. Meets two times per month.
Vouchers for assistance with the cost of Nicotine Replacement Products and Chantix are available for any Carroll County resident who is enrolled in one of our classes or who is referred by Quit Now.
